Regaining our Balance and Moving Forward
You are invited!
All WSU faculty and staff are invited to attend this special workshop. Designed to provide strategies for working collaboratively to overcome the consequences of the 2009 budget fallout, the goal is one of facilitating adjustment and promoting recovery for our university community.
The session will be led by Dr. Scott Case, WSU Counseling Services Psychologist and Employee Assistance Program Coordinator. Dr. Cheryl Stolz, also of WSU Counseling Services, will join Dr. Case in presenting the workshop.
Occurring Tuesday, September 22 from 9-11am, this workshop will originate in Pullman with connecting sites available statewide through WSU Videoconferencing Services.

Clinic to Offer Free Support Group for Veteran Families
WSU Announcements 9/9/09
The WSU Psychology Clinic, in partnership with the Washington State Department of Veterans Affairs Post Traumatic Stress Disorder Program and the Spokane VA Medical Center, will be offering a free weekly Veteran Families Support Group beginning Sept. 16 from 5:30-7 p.m. in Johnson Tower, room 365.
Spouses, partners and parents of veterans and active military members will meet for 10 sessions to share ideas and information about transitioning from military to civilian or college life, learn more about identifying and understanding changes in their deployed or returning veteran, and build a local support network.
The support group will be facilitated by clinic director Jan Kusch, Ph.D., and Mikel Stevenson, licensed clinical social worker at the Spokane VA Medical Center's Veteran Trauma Recovery Program.
